From download to first rewrite

  1. Open the ZIP and move Rewordy to Applications.
  2. Open Rewordy and enable Apple Intelligence if prompted.
  3. Allow Accessibility so Rewordy can read and replace selected text.
  4. Run the onboarding workflow test to start your 7-day trial.
  5. Choose AI Prompt or Refine, select text, and press Option+Space.

Upgrading from Rewordy 0.1.x?

Hosted rewriting is permanently retired. There is no Cerebras, OpenAI, or other cloud fallback. Continued rewriting requires macOS 26 or later, compatible Apple silicon, Apple Intelligence, and the current app. Read the migration help.
